Getting Started on Table Top Games

What Must I Do?

Getting started on table top games is a whole lot more involved than getting electronic games, because the electronic ones are premade, so all you need to play is the game and a good computer. Because of this, I will only talk about how to start on table top games.

Very first, you need to find some game that you are interested in. If there are starter packs or rulebooks, you should try to buy them first. From there, you need to have modelling supplies. These things would include: a sharp hobby knife, paintbrushes, primer, glue (a must have) and the models (of course).

You should read all of the instructions on building the model beforehand, so you are less likely to mess up when building a model. When you are building, always make cuts away from yourself, as if you slip, the knife will go away from you instead of into you (ouch!). Also watch out for superglue if you are using any. It instantly sticks skin to skin, in result, you might hasve two fingers stuck together rather than your model, and it is painful to seperate the two sources of skin. Paint can be harmful too. Be sure to paint in rooms with open windows, and use spray paint outside.

After you have started, you can collect armies any possible way you want, paint any way you want, and even build the models to your bidding.
